How the night Unfolds
Every second Friday, Mi Fiesta Dance Studio in Waltham opens its doors for an evening that’s equal parts welcoming and elegant. Whether you’ve been dancing for years or you’re stepping onto the floor for the very first time — no partner needed, no experience required. Just come as you are.
A different dance every month, taught from scratch. Perfect if you've never danced before — and a nice refresher if you have. No partner needed.
The floor is open. The DJ plays a mix of Ballroom, Latin, and Swing all night. Find your rhythm at your own pace.
The floor closes at 11. A reason to come back next month.

Before your first Friday
The questions first-time guests ask us most.
No. Most guests come on their own or with a friend, and everyone dances with whoever they like. Imre, our instructor, is there at every Mi Fiesta party.
Yes. The night starts with a beginner group lesson at 8:15 PM, a different dance each month, taught from the first step. By 9 PM you have something to try on the floor. For more practice, our group dance classes in Waltham run every week.
$20 per person at the door. It includes the beginner lesson, two hours of social dancing and soda all night. Pay with cash or Venmo. No registration needed.
Every second Friday of the month at 406 Moody St, Waltham. Doors open at 8:00 PM, the lesson starts at 8:15 PM and the floor is open from 9:00 to 11:00 PM. The next dates are listed above and posted on our Facebook and Instagram.
A mix of Ballroom, Latin, Swing and Night Club music: waltz, foxtrot, tango, cha cha, rumba, swing, salsa, bachata, hustle and more. The DJ for each night is named on the party flyer.
There is no standing dress code. When a party has a theme or a dress code, such as formal or semi-formal, it is on the flyer. Shoes that let you turn easily make dancing more comfortable.
Adults of every level, from first-timers to experienced dancers. Many of our students come to practice what they learned in class.
On select nights, guest dancers perform a show dance. When there is one, it is announced on the flyer.
Street parking is available on Moody St, and there are free parking lots on Chestnut St and Walnut St, a short walk from the studio.

Yes. A private intro lesson is the fastest way to feel ready on the floor. Getting married? Our wedding dance lessons pair well with a night of practice at the party.
