MI Fiesta Dance Shines at TK Dance Winter Showcase 2024
On December 14, 2024, MI Fiesta Dance Studio brought their energy and talent to the TK Dance Winter Showcase, hosted at the vibrant SuperShag West Dance Studio in Waltham, MA. The showcase, which began at 12:00 PM, was a celebration of artistry, technique, and the sheer joy of ballroom dancing.
Representing MI Fiesta Dance were five talented students—Lauren Paul, Irina Shapeton, Mawya Shocair, Amanda Sinesi, and Sharon Pyell—all dancing alongside their dedicated teacher, Imi. Each performance radiated enthusiasm and skill, making the event unforgettable for participants and spectators alike. The atmosphere was unforgetable, filled with applause, cheers, and a true sense of community.
A Day of Memorable Performances
MI Fiesta Dance dancers brought their best to the table, showcasing a variety of styles and musical selections:
- Amanda Sinesi wowed the audience with two stunning performances: a lively show dance to the soundtrack of the film A Mask, and a spirited samba to Celia Cruz’s classic “La Vida Es Un Carnaval”.
- Lauren Paul dazzled with her samba to Elvis Presley’s energetic and timeless “Bossa Nova Baby”, earning widespread admiration for her precision and charisma.
- Irina Shapeton delivered an emotional bolero to the hauntingly beautiful “Holiday” by the Scorpions, showcasing her grace and poise on the dance floor.
- Mawya Shocair, who made her debut, performed a vibrant hustle to ABBA’s iconic “Dancing Queen”. His debut performance was met with thunderous applause and heartfelt congratulations from those present.
- Sharon Pyell, just dance a wonderfull cha cha on the unforgetable song “Joe Cocker unchain my heart”.
