An other fantastic Showcase with the MI Fiesta dance studio, inspired by Disney

Dance Republic hosted an exciting summer show on June 1, featuring professional and amateur dancers from seven local dance studios, including dancers from MI Fiesta. The event organized by Sabor Dance Studio was also inspired by the themes of Disney films. We could see dancing cats from The Aristocats, Zorro Paso Doble, Samba from Rio, and Moses from The Prince of Egypt. It’s like experiencing a little Disneyland in Wellesley for a few hours.
During the evening, we could see around 40 show dances in 4 acts, many of which were performed by the students with their teachers. Each of the dances pays homage to a beloved Disney cartoon. The lineup featured a wide range of dance styles, from graceful Ballroom and Smooth to fiery Latin and Rhythm. As usual, the evening ended with a performance by professional dancers.
Dance Republic’s summer showcase provided a wonderful opportunity for the local dance community to showcase their talents and share their passion for the art form. It was a truly glamorous event that captivated the audience. We would like to thank everyone who honored us with their presence.
